After reading a book
AFTER READING A BOOK
I just finished reading "The Cellist of Sarajevo" in the train and I got so emotional. The character has to get water travelling just around 5 kms. But on his way the snipers would just shoot random civilians and he had to always be in fear. He also talked about shaving his beard in a well-lit room and with hot water. These are the things that I feel I take for granted. I know that when we are feeling down we should not just be happy with what we have and others don't but address the root issue. However, I also had time to reflect and be happy and grateful for what I have. Also I got a feeling of echo inside me that the book is small and more had to be written and also an "happy ending" which leads to the emptiness I had.
All I am trying to say is please read this book. Now I am reading Harry Potter to do a bit of casual reading.
Now regarding my life - nothing new has happened, still running around between work, fitness, German classes and also eating healthy, sleeping, skin care, hair care etc.. It is getting pretty overwhelming but I am sure that it will all pay off when I am retired and sitting in my balcony with a warm tea with my husband people watching. Also I would like to bend down and get something from the floor at the age of 60 or more. I hope I am not putting too much pressure on anyone reading this.
Have a great life.
